Chung Wah
I think the chef is from Andhra...makes the food real spicy. After the Guru Garden session (our watering hole) the food tastes amazing. Well... nothing great to write about. Standard Indian chinese food and they are made tasty. Some of the dishes that i normally stick to are
- Chicken Momos : Hot and nicely done. 10 to a plate and costs 100 bucks. Either you get with green chilly sauce or mustard - chilly sauce.
- Schwezwan Noodles / Chilly Garlic noodles / Hakka Noodles : Both veg & non - veg versions are good and 1 serving should be enough for 2 people. And they dont do kanjoosi on the amount of vegetables or meat pieces.
- The same variations above in rice : Avoidable... the rice is made very sticky and they dont use the long grain rice.
- Chicken / Pork gravies : I think they take the cake. Amazingly done... especially the pork ones
- Red date pancake with icecream : Surprise package of all. They serve the pancake warm and perhaps one of the best pancake icecream that i had.
Go there if you need some kick out of the chinese food that you eat and dont want to spend too much money. Not the place to go for a dining experience. No alcohol is served.
