Summary: One of the best north indian fare in Bangalore
Getting there: The Forum Mall at Koramangla
Food Cost: 100-200
Drinks Cost: 100-200
Description:

The ambience and the layout is amazing. The restaurant derives its name from the 3 locomotives which pulled the first train in India. The restaurant is done in such a way that there are 2 parts... 1 is a effect as if you are sitting on a railway platform and other one is as if sitting on a railway coach. Very authentically done with attention to details like passenger list, all waiters dressed like railway employees, announcements and rail engine whistle effects. Ok.. now to the food

- Slight variation on the north indian fares and they have some interesting notes against each of them. Not sure how true they are.
- Pretty much all starters are well done
- The black dal is fantastic
- Some interesting non - alcoholic drinks on the menu. Personally i like the one that is pineapple and raw mango.
- Dont miss the churans after you finish your meal

If you are a group of 10+ they have a set menu at about 500 per head. Very good and value for Money.

The biggest pain is they dont take reservations after 0730PM. Even if they take they very intolerant about being late even by 5/10 mins. So be prepared to wait for atleast 30 to 45 mins to get your table. But the best part is they have a pub called Firangipani attached.. so book your tables go and sit in the pub. They serve you some fantastic cocktails. Go to the bar and speak directly with the bartender in terms of your taste preferece and he will serve you some of the amazing cocktails.
