Hotel Sangam

| | |
Summary: Decent place for South Indian food
Getting there: Walk down Brigade road, take a right
Food Cost: <50
Description:

A couple of colleagues and myself were looking for breakfast early in the morning (~7ish). We were damn pissed when we couldn't find any place open.

Just when we were about to burst into tears, we found this place, Hotel Sangam. Small South Indian joint... the usual idli, vada, dosa, etc. Apparently, the place has been here for about 30 years.

Food is quite good. You might want to try the vadas... really good. If you're into watching your weight and stuff, better be warned—the dosa items are loaded with ghee. They're quite good, though. :-) Didn't like the chatni. Tea wasn't great either. Coffee's good.
