Chirag Ali Lane Chaat Center
Run by a Kannadigaa family, this one takes the cream for the *best* pani puri they serve. Though it is a roadside joint, things are very clean and covered. Rs. 5 for a plate of pani puri (8 numbers.) The pani has a good lot Pudina (mint) in it - which makes it kinda authentic. Bhel comes for Rs. 10, and reminds me of Chowpatty. :) Other chaat stuff is also served, but I haven't had it. Generally I have somewhere around 25 pani puris' in one go - which leaves no space in my stomach for anything else. :) The husband and wife are very gentle and kind - you feel very nice while eating stuff here.
Oh, and on the RHS of this pani-puri stall, is a Farsaan shop (for those who are wondering where to get Farsaan in Hyderabad.) Also, one auntie makes some excellent mutton-kheemaa samosas' some 10 feet away from this stall. They are good in taste, say my friends'.
