Dum Pukth

Dum Pukth is the signature ITC reatuarant it has a very classy decor, very comfortable seating, the service is attentive and friendly however the restaurant didnt seem very busy.

We ordered the thandai for a drink it was excellent. We opted to avoid appetizers and soups and go straight to the food as dum pukth cooking is very heavy.

We got the paneer in tomato gravy, excellent, succulent paneer, lightish gravy. great taste. The Dal Makhani was excellent with a distincitve taste, very well done.

The Naan, which was ok (no one makes the Naan like Masala Kraft at Taj) then the Biryani, which was average (ive had better at Shamiana and Palms) with garlic raita. Overall the meal was good but short of excellent due to the weak biryani and okayish Naan.

The pricing is on the very expensive side around 1800 for our meal there and one can safely expect to spend atleast 1500 for two people.
