New Sansar

New Sansar Hotel is one hardcore joint on Andheri Kurla road. It is a minute's walk away from Marol naka towards Sakinaka. It is a small utilitarian restaurant run by Muslims serving good, ultra-cheap non-veg food. There is a family room upstaris, though I don't how that is. The place had a high turnover of people and was quite clean.

We started with a bheja fry in egg which was very good. We then had a special boneless mutton which came out in a green gravy. Dal gosht was ok. We had all this with chapatis. People around seemed to be eating similar standard cheap quick chick/mutton/bheja dishes in various colours. Some people were eating Indian Chinese too. Custard at the end looked yellow and suspicious compared to what one is used to when ordering caramel custard. But the suspicion ended at the first bite! The taste of bread pudding and the form of caramel custard. For 9 bucks too. Wow!
