Salt 'N' Pepper

Salt n Pepper is a small restaurant next to fame Adlabs Andheri (W) which serves good and affordable Indian and Chinese food. The portions are large enough that one gravy dish and one fried rice may be enough for 3 people.

Located between two malls and multiplexes. This is an ideal place for movie goers to have a quick meal before or after a movie.

It has two sections an indoor air conditioned section and an outdoor section. We sat outdoor since the indoor section was full. On a hot afternoon this may be a bad idea. But the weather being pleasant our main irritation was the presence of flies which only seemed to increase as the food arrived.

We had the following

Tandoori Mushroom - Not to spicy but nice and tangy.

Chicken Dumplings - The dumplings themselves were average, maybe a bit hard but the tomato based sauce they served with it was a killer. It elevated the dish to a whole new level.

Schezwan Fried Rice - The portion was huge. We had the rice by itself without gravy and the 3 of could barely managed to finish it. It was prefectly spiced long grain rice.

Thy have a bar with alcohol at reasonable rates. About 140 a bottle of beer and 80 for a pint. Cocktails are around Rs. 250.

A good place to grab a quick meal with a drink or two with friends.
