Spaghetti Kitchen
The Spaghetti Kitchen is the Italian only outlet of the Blue Foods Group (Bombay Blue, Copper Chimney, Cream Centre, Noodle Bar) it is also the best designed, best run of all of the places as well. unfortunately so far they only have one outlet in Phoenix Mill High Street.
The decor is minimalist and classy. The menu has been revamped recently some old favs are gone (roast pomodor soup) but they have taken service to a new level. The help is well helpful, responsible and quick.
our lunch courses were the minestrone soup (105) which was pretty good, a little on the salty side but the taste was bang on the bruschetta platter(175)i would reckon is the best in the city so far comes in a portion of 6 small pieces 4 in tomato 2 in mushroom with a hint of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. a must have.
the main course was the spaghetti with blood red tomatos in olive oil (225). again a hit the taste wasnt cream rich like their penne paprika or as mind numbingly good as the spaghetti at indigo deli but it was a bit more on the minimalist side. worked well.
total damage of 620 for
1 soup
1 appetizer
1 entree
2 x Diet Pepsi
all in all a good meal and great service.
