Cha Bar at The Leela Galleria

Summary: Tea for you, me, and all in many flavors...
Description:

Cha Bar provides you with a variety of tea flavors to select from. This bar is located inside the Oxford Bookstore, and makes it a cool place to read a book and also sip your tea.

Check out their menu for the most exotic flavors of tea - herb, fruit, flower, green tea, spice, and so on. Each cup of tea ranges from Rs. 35/- or Rs. 45/- upwards. The quantity of tea is surprisingly less; I would want a little more in that cup for one serving! No, a pot of tea is not available; just cups.

The glass cup is nicely placed in a white-metal holder, which has a cute monkey on it. Check that out.You should also look at the snacks and desserts available. Though the pakoras served to us was a little oily, tasted good; no forks or spoons provided, eat with your hand!

Obviously, the ambience is great. The merchandise display is colorful. What makes the place cool and relaxing is the fusion of interior design ideas plus the presence of books. Ah, it's heaven for a few reasons!

We were informed that a few more flavors are introduced. Check out.

Browse through this place. Enjoy the aroma of tea.

My rating:
Variety in Tea: A+
Ambience: A+
Service: A to B
Quantity: B
Cost: Expensive
Comfort Zone: A

CUP A TEA

| | |
Summary: A unique concept , probably first of its kind in pune...serves tea varieties from india with snacks like momos and thupa!
Description: A small hub kinda cafe , extremely clean... The preparation area is like a typical modern indian kitchen...! Seating place upstairs...Tea preparation instant and can enjoy watching them make the momos. The kitchen in itself is too homely to watch them make the hot drink. Taste : Choice of tea , broadly classified into three categories ; Assam , Darjeeling and Nilgiris. Each of this has subcategories , varying in strength and flavour. I love both the Assam and darjeeling flavours. The serving style is again commendable...A big tray with flavoured tea in a filter kettle , milk and suger separately. Glasses are crystal ware. Each serving is either 2 or 6 cups and the prices vary accordingly. The snack serving dishes are also eye catchers.. just for a look.. steamed momos serving! A must visit in all ways on a chilly rainy day when a cup of tea can make it just perfect!
