Dal Fryday
Good clean ambience... simplistic yet nicely done. Coming to the food... 80% of the menu is standard Punjabi / North Indian fare that you get in every street corner restaurants these. What differentiates them is the taste... trying to get closer to be as authentic as possible.. so it makes the eating experience that much more enjoyable. What did we have
- Rajoli Kabab : Interesting...Tandoor cooked chicken breasts stuffed with mutton kheema & topped with egg. Very soft and tender.. perfectly cooked not overdone and spiced perfect. Fantastic with a squeeze of lemon on top of it with mint chutney on the side.
- Tandoori Pomfret : Amazing. I will stop at that
We had combo meals
- Kichdi & Kadi
- Makki roti / Saag / Dal Makhni
- Aloo Parantha / Egg bhurji
All nicely done.. and tasty. Ah!! forgot about the drinks... no alcohol and very limited options on the non - alcoholic. Had Jal Jeera and Aamlana (Sweet tamarind water spiced with black pepper, cumins, black salt etc)...very nice and refreshing.
All in all a nice and enjoyable gastronomic experience. Only crib is their service.... very slow and amateurish. Need to tighten up on that front.
