Trails

bluesmoon, freegeek, chetanv, and solzaire did a SigFood chaat trail in Bombay a couple of weeks ago. This is the trip report - here is the original LJ post. We only have a few relevant pics since the camera was usually inside a bag whenever there was a photo-op.

7 pm - Starters and More - premshree and me have Classic Margheritas - Tequila and lime blended in ice. The happy hour ensures a repeat where I go in for one with Malibu while premshree has a vodka and blue curacao cocktail. Freegeek has famous experiences with shooting vodka and arack (called landmine) and a flaming shooter with vodka, Kahlua and something. See the photo post :). Also ate nachos.

The scene: A lazy weekend afternoon slogging in our respective workplaces at IITB
The desire: Let's get the rock out of here
The decision: A long random restaurant hop
The people: Nitin, Yug, CV, and me
The rules: Random places, random food, one dish and one bevarage *only* at every place
The transport: The Ratmobile after the requisite permission
The regret(? not really ;) ): Not informing the usual suspects at short notice

Sigfood Trail - Phoenix & Sion Koliwada
Yesterday's dinner with P turned into a Sigfood trail after solzaire turned up. While waiting for solzaire at Phoenix Mills I decided I wanted icecream, so first stop.

Naturals Icecream
Pineapple-Papaya - Strange but nice taste. Never had had this before.
Then we decided to check out the food stalls.

Chilee
Chicken Momos - There was 'hair' in one of the pieces right on the covering. Sent back the plate. After a lot of deliberation they dumped the piece in question added one and gave it back. I convinced P to stay there to eat meanwhile only because I was told that place was owned by a Ryzer.
